Globus curated an extraordinary tour, showcasing the best of places in Croatia starting from Zagreb , Zadar, Dubrovnik, Split, and Kotor, as well as Tirana in Albania. Our exceptional guide, Helena, was a treasure trove of knowledge, complemented by local guides who provided insightful commentary at historic sights. The experience was further enriched by visiting local homes where we savored local cuisine and immersed ourselves in the authentic lifestyle of each region. I'm grateful for the wealth of knowledge gained and memories created. As the wise words go, "Travel is the best education," and this journey was a testament to that."

 

 

The tour was amazing from the word go and delightful in every possible way. Eclectic choice of hotels, thoughtfully curated visits to enhance the local customs, culture and tastes of each and every city we visited. Our Tour Director - Helena who conducted the tour was considerate and engaging all throughout and insightful in her knowdledge about the countries. We had the most marvellous experience and looked forward to each day with much enthusiasm.

 

The Best of Switzerland tour by Globus was seriously very good – an experience that exceeded our expectations! My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time and enjoyed every single moment. Everything was arranged very systematically, with excellent hotel stays, comfortable transportation, and delicious food throughout. It was completely stress-free for us. Each destination was incredibly beautiful with picture-perfect scenery. Lake Como was stunning – the calm blue waters, surrounding mountains, and charming lakeside towns made it feel like a dream. Lucerne was equally mesmerizing. The highlight was definitely the iconic Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), which added so much charm with its beautiful flowers and medieval architecture. This was our fourth tour with Globus, and as always, they delivered the best. Our tour director Katariyna and driver Giovanni were very friendly, knowledgeable, and added tremendous value. Overall, simply awesome! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore Switzerland's beauty in comfort and style.

 

Our association with GLOBUS is nearing ten years and our travels with GLOBUS covering Spain,  Gibraltar, Portugal, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia and the Baltics, Morocco, Poland, Greece and Turkiye had not only been fascinating but also deeply satisfying and rewarding.

Our recent trip to Italy in March, 2025 was an exceptionally well planned and crafted trip with practically no room for errors and aberrations. This was despite the fact that Italy this time in 2025 was having the "JUBILEE YEAR" celebrations in progress that normally attracts an unprecedented number of people.

Like in all other trips so far, we had a fantastic Tour Director Silvio Cacace and Tour Driver who had been instrumental in making our long journeys even more comfortable and enjoyable. Moreso, their presence and professional acumen stole the show on a number of occasions. We would definitely like to put a word of appreciation to the Product Development Team of GLOBUS JOURNEYS, USA whose unstinting efforts did pave the way for making this long trip exceptionally colourful and provided us with a discernible degree of innate satisfaction apart from gaining insights into Italy's Culture, Beliefs, Traditions, Art and Architecture along with a spread of Gastronomic Specialities across Regions.

It was indeed the best trip beyond any shadow of doubt. From accommodation to coach, everything was class apart. Met beautiful people who were as caring as my own people. All the hotels' rooms were neat, clean and offered sheer comfort after excursions. All excursions were spell bounding and the information shared by the tour director was worth noting. The Spanish Escape was actually worth escaping!!! In love with the windy Spain... The stories that Spain unfolds defines it's glory... From cityscape to the farms and monuments, there are stories in every nook and corner of this magnificent country. Thanks to everyone who made this vacation worth remembering.

Globus provided the most doable and experiential tour program with an able tour director having many years of trustworthy experience beyond destinations. I am into urban designs and landscapes so Bilbao as a city of Urban transformation was a treasure trove. Visiting and knowing more about Guggenheim was a delight.

Lisbon & Northern Spain

 

 

We travelled to Japan & China with Globus last summer. Not only did we get to see all the important places, but Globus also arranged visits to an embroidery and silk factory and a Tang Dynasty show which were exceptional. The hotels in which we stayed were also centrally located and comfortable. We look forward to taking more Globus trips again!

 

To visit South America had been a long cherished dream, confused with safety and security issues. My friend from a travel agency highly recommended Globus. All I had to was to choose an escorted tour from a hefty brochure and everything was taken care of – from carefully chosen hotels to a range of restaurants and sightseeing tours. Globus’ hotel selection is on point right through with picturesque, well-situated hotels that are amazingly adept at checking in 30 people at once in no time and providing large rooms and beds replete with a huge collection of pillows. Our Tour Director, Fernando Bordallo, brought with him 31 years of experience. He efficiently orchestrated all the tours and transfers with precise instructions on the how, where and what of each destination so that the large group seemed to move as one. Our travel companions were from all over the world, from the US and Canada to the Philippines and beyond. We learnt so much of their lives and families over shared meals and coach rides, adding a new dimension to our travels.

 

Our back-to-back Globus tours were well organized and managed with itinerary that was planned with special care to allow us to experience each country properly without any hurry. The biggest highlight were our Tour Directors, Brano and Valleria, who were very knowledgeable and always willing to help.

 

Now that we are back from our Globus tour South American Odyssey, I thought I would let you know how much we enjoyed the experience. The Amazon pre tour extension was really interesting, and the eco lodge we stayed at was comfortable though basic. The night safari looking for crocodiles under an eerie full moon was thrilling. The Iguassu Falls were truly awesome and Rio was like any big city. The highlight of our tour was Buenos Aires, the tango show and Bariloche and the lake crossing to Chile, which we would never have discovered on our own. The post tour extension to Peru's Cuzco and Machu Picchu was truly unforgettable. We stayed at some lovely hotels too, and all the travel arrangements were perfect. All in all a wonderful experience, history and culture brought to life excitingly by Christian, our excellent Tour Director. Thanks so much for recommending this tour.
